Suresign Pregnancy Tests - 2 Pack provide a quick, simple and discreet way to test for pregnancy at home. The tests work by detecting human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), a hormone produced during pregnancy, in a urine sample.

Suresign Pregnancy Tests provide results in just 3 minutes and are 99% accurate from the first day of your missed period when used according to the instructions. The test can be used earlier, although testing before your expected period increases the possibility of a false-negative result.

This convenient twin pack contains 2 individually sealed pregnancy tests, allowing you to repeat the test if necessary.

How Does a Suresign Pregnancy Test Work?

After implantation, the body begins producing a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). The amount of hCG generally increases during the early stages of pregnancy.

Suresign Pregnancy Tests are designed to detect hCG in urine. When used correctly, the appearance of the control and test lines allows you to interpret whether hCG has been detected.

When Should I Take a Pregnancy Test?

For the most reliable result, Suresign Pregnancy Tests are best used from the first day of your missed period.

The test can be used as early as 4 days before your missed period, but hCG levels may still be too low to detect at this stage. Therefore, a negative early result does not necessarily mean that you are not pregnant.

If testing before your expected period, using your first urine of the morning can help because it generally contains the highest concentration of hCG.

How to Use

Always read the enclosed instructions fully before performing the test.

Step 1: Collect a urine sample in a clean, dry container.

Step 2: Remove the pregnancy test strip from its foil pouch immediately before use.

Step 3: Dip the test into the urine for 10 seconds, taking care not to immerse it beyond the marked MAX line.

Step 4: Remove the test and start timing immediately.

Step 5: Read the result at 3 minutes.

Do not interpret the result after 10 minutes.

Understanding Your Result

Positive result: Two coloured lines appear – one in the control (C) region and one in the test (T) region. The lines do not need to be equally dark. This indicates that you are probably pregnant.

Negative result: One coloured line appears in the control (C) region and no line appears in the test (T) region. This indicates that pregnancy has not been detected.

Invalid result: If no control line appears, the test has not worked correctly. Repeat the test using a new test strip and carefully follow the instructions.

What If My Test Is Negative?

If your result is negative but your period has not started, it may simply be too early for the test to detect enough hCG.

Consider repeating the test after 2–3 days. If your period remains absent or you are unsure about your result, speak to your GP or another healthcare professional.

Important Information

This product is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only. It is for external home testing and should not be taken internally.

Each pregnancy test is for single use only. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.

Excessive fluid intake before testing may dilute the urine and potentially make hCG more difficult to detect, particularly during very early pregnancy.

Certain medicines and medical circumstances can affect pregnancy test results. If you receive an unexpected or unclear result, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

A home pregnancy test is an aid to detecting pregnancy and should not replace appropriate medical advice or follow-up.

Always read and follow the instructions supplied with the test.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are Suresign Pregnancy Tests?

Suresign states that the pregnancy test is 99% accurate from the first day of a missed period when used correctly.

How quickly will I get a result?

The result should be read at 3 minutes. Do not interpret the test after 10 minutes.

Can I take a Suresign Pregnancy Test before my missed period?

Yes. Suresign states that the test can be used as early as 4 days before your missed period. However, it is most accurate from the first day of your missed period because hCG levels may be too low to detect when testing early.

What does a faint second line mean?

If a control line appears and a second coloured line appears in the test region within the specified reading time, even if the test line is lighter, this indicates that you are probably pregnant. Follow the instructions supplied with the test and consider confirming the result with another test or your healthcare professional.

What should I do if my pregnancy test is negative but my period is late?

Pregnancy may not be detected if hCG levels are still low. Consider repeating the test after 2–3 days. If your period remains absent or you have concerns, contact your GP or another healthcare professional.
