La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+ is a multi-purpose barrier repair balm built around two clinically validated actives: vitamin B5 (panthenol), which draws moisture into the skin and supports natural regeneration, and madecassoside, derived from centella asiatica, which has anti-inflammatory and skin-repair properties. The formula also contains the Tribioma Prebiotic Complex to restore the skin microbiome. Together, they repair the compromised skin barrier faster than almost any other over-the-counter formula.
When to Use Cicaplast Baume B5+
- Nappy rash: Safe from birth, allergy-tested on baby skin. Apply at every nappy change during an active rash.
- Eczema flares: Apply to reactive areas on the face. Use Lipikar Baume AP+M for body eczema.
- Rosacea: Apply to burning or stinging skin after a flare to calm the inflammatory response quickly.
- Post-procedure: After laser, peels or microneedling. Repairs the barrier and reduces recovery time.
- Post-retinol irritation: Apply over retinol on sensitive nights — the sandwich method for retinol beginners.
