Who is it suitable for?
Calpol Six Plus Fastmelts are suitable for children aged 6 years and over, as well as older children and adults, for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.
Do not give to children under 6 years of age.
How to take Calpol Six Plus Fastmelts
Place the tablet in the mouth and suck gently until it melts on the tongue. The tablet can then be swallowed without water.
- Children aged 6–9 years: 1 tablet per dose.
- Children aged 9–12 years: 2 tablets per dose.
- Children aged 12–16 years: 2–3 tablets per dose.
- Adults and children over 16 years: 2–4 tablets per dose.
Doses may be given up to 4 times in 24 hours if required. Always leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period. Do not give this medicine to a child for more than 3 days without speaking to a doctor or pharmacist.

Important information
Contains paracetamol. Do not use with any other product containing paracetamol.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage. In the event of an overdose, seek immediate medical advice even if the person feels well, because serious liver damage may be delayed.
Do not use if you or your child are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems or are taking other medicines.
The tablets contain aspartame (E951), benzyl alcohol and glucose. Always read the patient information leaflet before use and keep medicines out of the sight and reach of children.
